About The Position

About the Role: We are seeking a motivated Business Development Representative to join our growing SAAS sales team. You will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and setting the stage for successful sales conversions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or 1-2 years of experience in sales, business development, or related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Proficiency with CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
  • Ability to handle rejection and maintain persistence
  • Willingness to travel within territory (up to 70%)

Nice To Haves

  • Previous BDR or SDR experience in B2B sales
  • Familiarity with sales engagement platforms (Outreach, SalesLoft, etc.)
  • Understanding of consultative selling techniques

Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential clients through various channels including LinkedIn, industry databases, and market research
  • Attend and lead presence at regional tradeshows/expositions
  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and social media to generate qualified leads
  • Qualify inbound leads and determine their fit for our solutions
  • Schedule and conduct discovery calls and product demonstrations
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM system
  • Collaborate with sales team to develop targeted outreach strategies
  • Meet or exceed monthly quotas for qualified opportunities and meetings set
  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and product updates
