About The Position

Surety Systems, Inc. is a high-growth, entrepreneurial consulting firm celebrating 23 years of excellence. Headquartered in Cary, NC, we operate nationwide, supporting 300+ active clients across the last three years. We specialize in high-stakes ERP, Financial, HCM, SCM, and Clinical Applications consulting across seven premier platforms: Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards, Infor, Workday, UKG, and Epic. Our clients trust us to deliver "best-of-the-best" consultants for their most mission-critical projects. That’s where you come in. We are seeking an experienced Business Development Representative to join our rapidly expanding team. This is a highly collaborative role where you will partner with our Sales Leadership, Practice Group Leaders, and Recruitment team to solve complex client needs.

Requirements

  • Sales Background: 3+ years of B2B sales experience. Experience within the IT, ERP, or SaaS space is highly preferred.
  • Tech Proficiency: Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce) and outbound platforms (SalesLoft/LinkedIn Sales Navigator).
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal/written communication and a self-motivated, goal-oriented mindset.
  • Adaptability: The ability to quickly learn the nuances of different software ecosystems and speak the language of diverse IT stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic Prospecting: You will manage a territory of organizations already identified as Oracle users. We leverage cutting-edge AI to identify high-propensity prospects, allowing you to prioritize your efforts where they matter most.
  • Modern Outreach: Using a tech stack that includes Salesforce, SalesLoft, and LinkedIn, you will execute multi-channel outreach. We value quality over quantity; you’ll need to write high-impact, customized communications that cut through the noise.
  • Consultative Discovery: Success in this role means knowing what questions to ask. While we provide deep-dive training on our specific application platforms, we need a detail-oriented professional who can uncover a client's "why."
  • Relationship Artistry: We’re looking for a witty, engaging personality—someone who is quick on their feet and can confidently articulate Surety’s unique value proposition and 23-year track record of success.
  • Persistence & Precision: You’ll master your Target Market and Ideal Client Profile (ICP). Timing is everything in ERP consulting, and your persistence will ensure we are top-of-mind when the client's business goals are on the line.
