As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a critical role in identifying, qualifying and nurturing marketing-sourced leads to accelerate Jamf’s sales pipeline. Acting as the first human touchpoint for prospective customers, you will engage leads from inbound sources such as website, chat, email, phone, campaigns and eCommerce, guiding them through discovery to assess fit, readiness and interest. By cultivating relationships, qualifying intent and delivering a smooth handoff to the sales organization, you ensure an efficient, high-quality lead-to-opportunity process. In this role, you also serve as a brand ambassador, providing extraordinary service and representing Jamf’s culture and vision to every prospect you engage. This is a hybrid position available to individuals residing in the Minneapolis, MN, metro area. While the role is primarily hybrid, you may be asked to work occasionally from the Jamf office or a local collaborative workspace alongside other Jamf team members for key events or important in-person engagements. Please note that we are only able to consider applicants who are currently based in the Minneapolis, MN metro area. #LI-Hybrid

Requirements

  • Proficiency with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and sales engagement platforms (Groove or Outreach preferred)
  • Strong communication, active listening, and customer service skills, with the ability to tailor messaging across diverse customer segments
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, able to influence and contribute in a “win as a team” environment with Sales, Marketing, and other partners
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious and resourceful, with the ability to quickly learn Jamf’s full product portfolio and articulate value across features, capabilities, and customer needs
  • Adaptable and goal-oriented, comfortable with evolving processes, tools, and business priorities
  • Demonstrates a strong drive for results and a motivated spirit, maintaining resilience and focus in the face of challenges

Responsibilities

  • Qualify and nurture marketing-sourced leads, building relationships and understanding prospect needs to ensure only high-quality opportunities are passed to Sales
  • Confidently speak to Jamf’s products and solutions, tailoring messaging and communicating value to fit the unique needs of different customer segments and industries
  • Leverage sales engagement tools (e.g., Groove, Zoominfo, 6sense) to follow up with inbound and marketing-sourced leads, personalized, at scale
  • Manage inbound inquiries from website, chat, email, phone and eCommerce, ensuring timely and consistent follow-up
  • Partner and collaborate with Sales to ensure seamless handoff, alignment on qualification standards, and continuous improvement of the prospect-to-customer journey
  • Track and manage activities in Salesforce CRM, maintaining accurate data, reporting on conversion rates, pipeline influence, and identifying/cleaning duplicate or misidentified records
  • Coordinate and schedule initial meetings with prospects as needed
  • Provide feedback to Marketing by reporting trends, prospect questions, and insights that improve lead quality and campaign effectiveness
  • Refine qualification strategies as products, features, and customer needs evolve
  • Serve as a brand ambassador who contributes ideas, strategies, and logic to advance Jamf’s brand, culture, and vision
