The role of the Business Development Representative is to focus on securing, maintaining, and nurturing current and new business partnerships that we call Select Employer Group Partners (SEGs). Our Business Development Representatives attend and present at various events to our branch communities and focus on ensuring that our relationships and community outreach efforts will bring in new accounts to the credit union. They develop business and form relationships with contacts through indirect and direct sales channels. They track and report on all events and interactions with current and potential partners. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for serving others. Public speaking is a must! They should be comfortable working independently and as a contributing member of a team. Our Business Development Representative also must embody Pelican's Core Values and provide excellent service in all that they do.
