As a Business Development Representative, you will engage with prospect organizations of all sizes, complexities, and needs. This is a pure hunting sales role where you will collaborate with key internal stakeholders, including sales and product managers, industry sales directors, and marketing teams. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, uncover, and qualify opportunities that contribute significantly to the pipeline development for sales in America. You will be expected to generate high-value sales pipeline through strategic and targeted prospecting into Commercial or Enterprise accounts, creating personalized messaging and outbound content to target new business prospects for Zendesk. In this role, you will leverage research and personalized messaging to drive outbound cold calls to prospects, and you will be responsible for developing and managing a pipeline of prospects while providing top-class customer experience. You will also research companies through various resources such as 10K, 10Q, investor presentations, and relevant news articles to better understand their challenges and pain points. This position offers a competitive salary with a pay mix of 70/30 (base/commission) and may also be eligible for bonuses, benefits, or related incentives. The hybrid work model allows for flexibility, enabling you to work remotely part of the week while also attending the local office for collaboration and connection.
