About The Position

Secure Data Technologies is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to fuel growth and expand our market footprint. This role is for someone who’s hungry to win, thrives under pressure, and refuses to coast. You’ll be on the front lines of our sales engine — turning cold leads into warm conversations, reigniting underperforming accounts, and helping define how we engage new clients. If you love competition, have a high motor, and take pride in outworking everyone else, you’ll thrive here.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years in business development, inside sales, or similar client-facing roles.
  • Strong communicator — clear, concise, and confident on calls.
  • Organized and detail-oriented — your CRM tells the full story.
  • High energy and self-motivation — you don’t wait for direction.
  • Coachable with grit — feedback fuels you, not fazes you.
  • Tech curiosity — eager to learn new industries, tools, and solutions.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Business, Marketing, or related field).

Responsibilities

  • Own top-of-funnel activity: cold calls, emails, LinkedIn engagement, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified leads.
  • Strategically target ideal customers and underrepresented markets.
  • Take ownership of Secure Data’s bottom 20% of clients.
  • Identify growth potential and reconnect with decision-makers.
  • Collaborate with account managers to re-ignite engagement and drive results.
  • Make 75–100 calls a day — persistence is your superpower.
  • Respond fast, stay organized, and always follow through.
  • Keep CRM clean, current, and ready for action.
  • Partner with outside sales on lead handoffs and prep work.
  • Research, qualify, and help set the stage for high-impact meetings.
  • Communicate clearly to keep everyone aligned.
  • Meet or exceed outreach, meeting, and pipeline goals every week.
  • Track progress with precision — no guesswork, just results.
  • Learn fast and double down on what works.
  • Partner with marketing for campaign follow-up and lead optimization.
  • Bring fresh insights to sales huddles and pipeline reviews.
  • Celebrate wins and lift the team — we play to win together.

Benefits

  • Generous PTO: 15 days (3 weeks minimum) for full-time employees.
  • Full health benefits: Medical, dental (100% covered for employees), vision (UHC).
  • Retirement plan: 6% employer contribution.
  • Growth: Ongoing professional development and certifications.
  • Coverage: Life, STD, and LTD insurance.
