About The Position

OPAL-RT Technologies is seeking a Business Development Representative for its U.S. Northwest division, with the flexibility to work remotely from locations such as California, Oregon, Denver, or Texas. This role is pivotal in driving the company's growth by identifying and pursuing new markets and customers across the Western United States. OPAL-RT Technologies is renowned for its innovative real-time simulation solutions, serving prestigious clients including NASA, Bombardier, and GE. As a member of the OPALIANS clan, you will be at the forefront of democratizing technology for engineers and researchers, contributing to advancements in various sectors such as automotive, aerospace, and energy. The ideal candidate will possess a strong entrepreneurial spirit, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic team environment. This position requires a proactive approach to business development, with responsibilities that include analyzing market opportunities, prospecting new clients, and maintaining relationships with existing customers. The successful candidate will also participate in industry conferences and trade shows, showcasing OPAL-RT's cutting-edge products and services. This role demands a high level of rigor, determination, and autonomy, as well as a passion for technology and a results-oriented mindset. The candidate will be expected to travel to client sites in California up to 50% of the time, making adaptability and strong organizational skills essential for success in this position.
