About The Position

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Castles Technology, you will play a key role in supporting our high-growth team, driving innovation in the unattended payments market—one of the fastest-growing segments of Fintech, spanning industries such as vending, kiosks, EV charging, parking, and self-service retail. In this role, you will focus on identifying and qualifying new business opportunities, generating leads, and helping expand Castles' presence in this evolving market.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in a business development, sales support, or inside sales role, ideally within Payments, Fintech, or Technology.
  • Strong prospecting and lead qualification skills with a hunter mentality.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport with potential clients.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and sales tools, with a strong ability to leverage technology for effective outreach management and tracking.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and resilient, with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team-oriented and eager to learn from more senior sales colleagues.

Responsibilities

  • Research, identify, and qualify new business opportunities through outbound prospecting, cold outreach, and inbound lead follow-up.
  • Develop and maintain a steady pipeline of qualified prospects within assigned territories and verticals.
  • Engage with potential clients via phone, email, LinkedIn, and at industry events or trade shows to build interest in Castles Technology solutions.
  • Schedule meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives and Sales Leaders.
  • Assist in preparing sales presentations, proposals, and other client-facing materials.
  • Track and manage all outreach activity, leads, and opportunities in the CRM system with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives, Marketing, and Customer Success to support the full sales cycle and ensure a seamless client experience.
  • Stay current on industry trends and competitive offerings to better engage with prospects and identify opportunities.
  • Consistently meet and exceed activity and pipeline-building goals, contributing to overall team success.
