About The Position

This role is for an Onsite Business Development Representative focusing on Storage, primarily working from an HPE office. The role involves applying foundational sales principles, theories, and concepts to assignments of limited scope, developing practical expertise, acting as a team member, and exercising independent judgment within defined parameters.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Comfortable making a high volume of calls (~100 per day) and managing multiple prospects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

  • Support and drive sales activities within existing customer accounts and prospect new opportunities to increase revenue.
  • Build customer confidence in the company's remote sales capabilities, engaging at all levels of customer management, including procurement and senior leadership.
  • Conduct approximately 100 outbound calls daily to qualify leads, follow up on opportunities, and promote products and services.
  • Manage the sales cycle from qualification to close, effectively communicating the benefits of direct e-business transactions and inside sales support.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on customer interactions to support team strategies.
  • Collaborate with team members to meet or exceed sales quotas and contribute to overall team success.
