We are seeking an experienced and motivated Business Development Representative to join our team and help us further expand our market presence. The Business Development Representative will be the driving force in identifying and securing new business opportunities, introducing Rainin solutions, and driving continuous growth through ongoing customer acquisition. This role is hands-on, requiring a high volume of activity, direct client engagement and a relentless drive to achieve results. In this position, you will be responsible for new account prospecting, identifying and targeting new potential clients within the Life Sciences industry. You will build and maintain a large pipeline of new business growth through proactive outbound prospecting and employ a boots-on-the-ground approach to uncover new opportunities and drive client engagement. You will represent the full breadth of Rainin solutions including liquid handling instrumentation, consumables, services, and software applications. Additionally, you will manage and optimize account transition to Sales Territory representatives for ongoing account management needs. Working closely with Sales Management, you will implement aggressive sales strategies aimed at capturing market share and meeting ambitious revenue goals. Monitoring and reporting on sales metrics will be crucial, as you will need to adapt strategies dynamically to ensure new business targets are achieved.
