About The Position

Paul Logistics is seeking a motivated and strategic Business Development Representative II to join our growing logistics team. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for building strong client relationships, developing revenue-generating strategies, and navigating the fast-paced world of transportation brokerage and supply chain operations. You’ll be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities, managing a strong sales pipeline, and working cross-functionally to align sales initiatives with business objectives. Requirements

  • 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition preferred
  • Background in logistics, freight, supply chain, or transportation brokerage strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of sales principles, negotiation, and lead generation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and capable of using data to inform decision-making
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-starter with a goal-driven and adaptable mindset
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based environment and collaborate across departments

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new client opportunities in the logistics and transportation sector
  • Build, manage, and maintain a strategic sales pipeline to drive business growth
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends and customer needs
  • Develop tailored proposals and presentations using Excel and other tools
  • Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, customer support, operations) to ensure alignment on client acquisition strategies
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize sales processes and outreach methods
  • Promote exceptional customer service and foster long-term relationships with clients
