About The Position

The Business Development Representative (BDR) plays a crucial role in establishing and maintaining communication between our customers and the company, ensuring ongoing customer satisfaction. This position is primarily focused on making cold calls to identify new business opportunities within our market and collaborating with Account Managers to develop leads. The ideal candidate will thrive in a small team environment, demonstrating self-motivation and a collaborative spirit with the sales team and senior management. The BDR's contributions are vital in facilitating a smooth transition from initial contact to customer engagement, significantly impacting our market positioning and penetration. In this role, the BDR will dedicate most of their time to seeking new customers and reaching out to existing customers who may not be utilizing all of our products. The responsibilities include making daily cold calls, identifying business opportunities, generating sales leads through various channels, and increasing market awareness through warm calling. The BDR will also create and manage a prospective customer database, work closely with the Customer Service team to strategize on market share growth, and ensure customer satisfaction as the primary point of contact for standard product sales. The BDR will be responsible for generating weekly sales reports, keeping the customer contact database updated, and conducting presentation meetings with potential clients. This role requires advanced research techniques to identify key decision-makers and stakeholders, facilitating effective outreach and appointment setting for the Account Management team. Staying informed about industry trends and product knowledge is essential for success in this position.
