About The Position

About the Role THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION! ComTec Systems is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to drive outbound prospecting, channel partner development, and pipeline growth. This high-impact role is ideal for a performance-driven BDR or SDR who wants hands-on exposure to channel sales, strong earning potential, and a clear path into sales leadership. You will own the front end of the sales process by identifying and qualifying reseller, referral, and partner opportunities, booking discovery meetings, and working closely with senior channel leadership to grow revenue.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of experience as a BDR, SDR, or inside sales professional
  • Proven success with outbound prospecting and lead qualification
  • Comfortable working in a quota-driven sales environment
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-through
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in UCaaS, telecom, SaaS, MSP, VAR, or technology services

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, and LinkedIn
  • Identify, qualify, and recruit channel partners (MSPs, VARs, telecom agents, referral partners)
  • Book qualified discovery meetings for senior channel managers
  • Build and nurture early-stage partner relationships
  • Support onboarding and activation of new channel partners
  • Track outreach, activity, and pipeline in Salesforce CRM
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing on co-selling and partner initiatives
  • Meet or exceed monthly and quarterly BDR KPIs and quota targets
