About The Position

As a Business Development Officer at UBS, you will play a crucial role in identifying key strategies to develop and grow sales within the Global Wealth Management division. Your responsibilities will include increasing top-line revenue growth, raising awareness, and distributing trade and product ideas to support point-of-sale execution. You will develop daily and weekly sales ideas based on market trends and product strategies, host daily Advisor meetings, and provide tactical ideas and sales materials. You will also handle profiling, lead identification, and maintain ongoing partnerships with internal strategy and analytics teams.

Requirements

  • Self-motivated and passionate about the client experience, with solid presentation skills.
  • Proactive, critical thinker with a collaborative personality.
  • Strong planner focused on organization and details, with the ability to deliver against tight deadlines.
  • Strong understanding of the wealth management business.
  • Series 7/66 or 7/63/65 required.
  • Ability to operate 5 days/week in a UBS office.
  • Role may require travel to different local branch offices.

Responsibilities

  • Increase top-line revenue growth, raise awareness, and distribute trade and product ideas, supporting point-of-sale execution.
  • Develop daily and weekly sales ideas based on market trends, product strategies, and advisor/client resources.
  • Host daily Advisor meetings and provide tactical ideas, sales materials, and highlight product offerings and pipelines.
  • Support book segmentation and reviews to bolster client acquisition and retention efforts.
  • Understand and distribute ideas and advice on product specific areas such as Investment Management, Alternative Investments, Capital Markets, Insurance, and Annuities.
  • Prepare sales materials including presentations, campaign content, and product updates.
  • Coordinate Advisor/Field Leader meetings and attend as needed.
  • Handle profiling, lead identification, follow-up activity, and maintain ongoing partnerships with internal strategy and analytics teams.
