About The Position

The Business Development Manager for Construction at HySafe is a pivotal role focused on expanding the company's market reach and enhancing customer relationships. This position involves crafting sales strategies, identifying new sales opportunities, and providing after-installation service solutions. The role is integral to ensuring customer satisfaction and driving long-term business growth in the fall protection systems sector.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of sales and/or technical project management experience, with a focus on selling service or maintenance contracts as an up-sell offering required.
  • Construction field experience required, fall protection experience a plus.
  • Fluency with all Microsoft Office products.
  • Strong CRM experience, familiarity with HubSpot is a plus.
  • Located in Central or Eastern time zone near a major airport, with travel up to 20% of the time.

  • Experience in the fall protection industry.
  • Experience with HubSpot (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Craft a sales strategy in partnership with the Sales Leader and Recertification Leader, with established targets nationwide.
  • Identify, initiate, and cultivate new sales opportunities to increase awareness and interest in HySafe through online research, networking, phone calls, and email outreach.
  • Provide appropriate fall protection service-after-install solutions from fall protection systems installed by the HySafe Construction team.
  • Partner with Customer Support to diligently follow up on projects installed by HySafe to up-sell OSHA-required recertification services to existing customers.
  • Educate and sell clients multi-year service contracts to best service the customer's fall protection compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Marketing team on digital marketing initiatives to grow incoming leads.
  • Manage a $1M+ pipeline in CRM, with expectations for increased growth.
  • Develop colder leads from competitors' systems.
  • Coordinate with the Recertification Leader/Engineering team on information gathering, estimating, contract review, proposal generation, and close-out process.
  • Develop and deliver sales presentations, visit distributors, participate in trade shows, and other business development events.
