About The Position

Our client, a fast-growing global provider of engineering and IT services, is seeking an accomplished Business Development Manager to accelerate growth within the U.S. Utilities market — with a primary focus on Broadband, CATV, Telecom, Power, Water, and Gas sectors. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role designed for a results-driven professional with strong industry relationships and a proven track record in driving business expansion within the utilities domain.

Requirements

  • 7–15+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably in engineering or IT services.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in the U.S. Utilities sector (Broadband, CATV, or Telecom preferred).
  • Demonstrated success in winning and managing large enterprise or utility accounts.
  • A well-established network of client and industry relationships across the utilities ecosystem.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and contract negotiation skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Working knowledge of GIS, network design, or utility software platforms is an advantage.
  • Valid U.S. work authorization (Citizenship, Green Card, or relevant work visa).

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a targeted go-to-market strategy across the U.S. Utilities landscape.
  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within Broadband, Telecom, and Energy domains.
  • Build, strengthen, and manage relationships with key decision-makers and procurement leaders.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations and proposals customized to client needs.
  • Maintain a robust sales pipeline to consistently achieve and exceed revenue objectives.
  • Partner with engineering and delivery teams to ensure flawless project execution and client satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to guide business strategy.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and client meetings as needed.
