The manager will coordinate marketing and communications for the territory, supporting the distribution strategy through various activities such as trade shows, agency councils, and incentive trips. Additionally, the role involves coordinating joint marketing strategies with other Berkley Operating Units to enhance profitable growth. Key responsibilities include developing a sales pipeline in collaboration with the Underwriting Director, prequalifying submissions, identifying growth opportunities, and maintaining effective relationships with agencies and brokers within the assigned territory. The manager will also be accountable for creating strategic marketing plans, managing agency scorecards, facilitating agency council meetings, and providing updates on profit-sharing initiatives. Furthermore, the role requires planning and attending industry trade shows, conducting agency training and education webinars, and collaborating with internal partners to provide market intelligence for product development.
