The Business Development Manager (Outside Sales) will be responsible for attracting new and maintaining existing customer relationships via phone, social media, face-to-face meetings, and email. This role engages with decision makers during the buying process and targets higher quality leads while leveraging existing partnerships to expand the prospect funnel. The manager acts as a market leader through connections with networking groups, trade associations, and social media groups. They will engage in pre-call planning using market research to gain insights into customer challenges, identify key stakeholders, and challenge customers to think about transforming their business while demonstrating a strong understanding of their priorities. The role also includes providing consultative account management, post-sale support, frequent contact, and follow-up, leading strategic market-related conversations with customers, and presenting and upselling additional products based on client needs.
