About The Position

Car Keys Express is experiencing rapid growth and is looking for an experienced Sales Professional to join as a Business Development Manager (BDM) in Houston, TX. The company has expanded from 60 employees to over 400 in the past five years and has averaged 50% revenue growth each year over the past 8 years. The BDM will play a crucial role in increasing the customer base of car dealerships, rental facilities, fleets, and other high-volume accounts for key replacements. This position offers the stability and excitement of working with a successful company undergoing major expansion.

Requirements

  • Confident, positive, self-motivated sales professional.
  • Ability to efficiently move leads through the sales funnel to a close.
  • Highly professional and knowledgeable, able to effectively represent the CKE brand.
  • Strong business acumen and situational awareness in unique sales presentation settings.
  • Ability to pre-plan cold calls to maximize effectiveness.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize effectively, as well as work independently.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in sales within the automotive or related industry.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales tracking tools.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets by increasing the customer base of car dealerships, rental facilities, fleets, and other accounts.
  • Present Car Keys Express to dealerships, fleet managers, and rental facilities.
  • Utilize the in-house CRM, Internal, to prospect for new business.
  • Log sales entries in Internal for every call, email, stop, and presentation.
  • Plan and coordinate travel to maximize in-person presentations daily.
  • Coordinate with Regional Sales Manager (RSM) and inside sales to ensure closure of committed targets in a timely manner.
  • Participate in bi-weekly sales meetings via Zoom app.
  • Complete all onboarding and ongoing training.
  • Learn CKE selling points to ensure a consistent message across all Regions.

Benefits

  • Uncapped compensation plan with a base salary of $80k-$95k and top performers earning between $100k-$120k.
