About the Role This is a solution sales opportunity reporting to the Director of Business Development. The Business Development Manager will be able to build relationships at multiple levels within a client’s organization and successfully position FACS as the single source provider for all Industrial Hygiene needs enterprise wide for prospects and existing clients. This candidate must be able to facilitate a team sell process, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize their responsibilities with little direction. This position will be focused on our Northern Californian and Northwest regions and has the flexibility to work from home. This position is eligible for quarterly and annual bonuses based on successfully completing targets.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with a minimum of 3–5 years in business development, successfully meeting quotas in a collaborative sales environment
  • Tenacious at initiating contact and determining the best people to talk with at a prospect.
  • Proven ability to build relationships at multiple layers in an organization while creating and closing multiple opportunities
  • Strong communications skills, written, verbal with the ability to create influence through passive listening
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to collaborate with prospects and clients to devise and close win-win solutions
  • Salesforce experience
  • Physical ability to stoop, kneel, climb, crawl, walk, and stand for extended periods in varied work environments to perform sampling activities.
  • Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer for documentation and reporting.
  • Must be able to pass a background check, annual physicals, and OSHA-required respirator fit tests.

  • Bilingual in any other language a plus!

Responsibilities

  • Prospect, develop and maintain new clients in Pacific Northwest region
  • Develop and grow key relationships with existing clients
  • Initiate and execute sales strategy plans
  • Forecast expected revenue and document activities in Salesforce
  • Create and present presentations to potential and existing clients
  • Travel locally (1-3 days) to association events with some out of town travel to Washington included (up to 1 week per month)
  • Interact and develop relationships with internal marketing and operational teams
  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Business Development
