About The Position

As a Business Development Manager, you will proactively engage with new and existing customers to promote NEC’s broad portfolio of ICT solutions. Operating within a defined geographic region and/or market sector, you will identify opportunities, develop tailored value propositions, and drive sales outcomes aligned to annual targets. You will work closely with internal teams—including Sales Specialists, Enterprise Architects, Marketing, and Commercial—to develop customer‑centric solutions and long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 plus years’ experience in a consultative selling role, preferably within an IT Services company
  • Demonstrated experience in IT Managed Services, BPO, Systems Integration, Security, XaaS, Unified Communications, Contact Centre environments and digital software solutions.
  • Proven success managing complex, long‑cycle sales engagements.
  • Ability to influence and engage C‑suite executives and senior stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and drive results in a fast‑paced sales environment.
  • A strong network of industry contacts and a history of meeting or exceeding targets.
  • Well‑developed strategic thinking, planning, and proposal development capabilities.

  • Sales methodology certifications (e.g., SPIN, TAS)

Responsibilities

  • Build and expand NEC’s customer base across Enterprise and Government sectors.
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities aligned with customer needs.
  • Prepare and deliver high‑impact proposals, presentations, and solution recommendations.
  • Develop and maintain a robust pipeline with accurate forecasting and documentation.
  • Manage and grow key client relationships to ensure exceptional customer satisfaction.
  • Strategically assess accounts to identify new revenue streams and long-term value.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful solution delivery.
