SCOPE OF POSITION: The Business Development Manager - Healthcare leads the focus and initiative for all large healthcare account/customers within Interior Product Solutions (IPS). The BDM will be a catalyst, product expert, strategist and negotiator while identifying, securing, and deploying new channels of business; via partnerships, alliances, and business relationships, and subsequently funneling those new channels of business into the overall service operation of the Business Unit for all of North America. Plans, directs, and controls strategic initiatives of assigned Business Unit to accomplish longer term financial objectives. Communicates Business Unit plans and objectives to Sr Business Development Manager and Director of Business Unit. Success is measured through generation of new healthcare accounts standards, and maximizing healthcare opportunities, like GPO additions, not always through existing sales channels.
