Ready to be a part of the company transforming FinTech and how the world accesses banking services? When was the last time you were excited about interacting with your bank or credit union? If the answer is “a while” then you’re in good company. Despite the fact that access to better financial choices is at the heart of empowering communities, businesses, and people, financial institutions (FIs) are struggling to keep up with modern expectations. And that’s where Kinective comes in. We’re here to change the way the world accesses and thinks about banking through software that connects a historically “boring” industry to the latest and greatest fintechs shaping the industry. Ok... but what does all of that actually mean? Banks and credit unions are using some pretty old-school systems, which makes adopting new and innovative technology difficult (if not impossible). If you think it’s easy for your local branch to send you a receipt via text… think again. Want proof? As the largest provider of software connectivity to 1 in 4 U.S. financial institutions, we are the leading company transforming the way banking is done for credit unions and banks. (In fact, Forbes recently released their Best Banks in the World report, and Kinective works with over 60% of their named banks!). Kinective is the connector (get it?) that bridges that technology gap and helps modernize the way banking works. Our 300+ team of mega-talented and passionate folks are brought together with the unifying desire to make life easier (and better) for our clients and ultimately paving the way for banks and credit unions to modernize banking for everyone. The Cliffs Notes We are seeking a seasoned BDR Leader to manage a high-performing team of six BDRs supporting both our Enterprise and Mid-Market segments. You will be instrumental in building the pipeline that enables Kinective to execute its aggressive 2026 go-to-market plan. This role requires real leadership experience — not entry-level management. You’ll be responsible for creating structure, processes, and execution discipline so that your team reliably books meetings with senior executives at financial institutions and coordinates with our fintech partner team for strategic opportunities.

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a team of six experienced BDRs focused on going after FI’s (>$1.5B AUM) and mid-market institutions ($100M–$1.5B AUM).
  • Design, implement, and optimize outbound sales processes tailored to complex fintech-to-FI engagement cycles.
  • Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and our Fintech Partnerships team to align outreach — including event/conference attendance, co-selling motions, and partner-driven introductions.
  • Drive efforts to secure high-value meetings with senior-level executives at target institutions, laying the foundation for enterprise deals.
  • Build and manage KPIs: pipeline generation, meetings booked, conversion to opportunities, and overall team performance.
  • Forecast pipeline contribution and report directly to executive leadership.
  • Recruit, onboard, and mentor top-tier BDR talent (we don’t hire rookies).
  • Promote a high-performance, data-driven, and collaborative culture — consistent with Kinective’s values of “One Kinective,” grit with grace, and building the future.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or other relevant subjects
  • 3–7+ years of experience leading BDR/Sales Development teams — ideally in fintech, banking technology, or enterprise SaaS.
  • Proven track record building pipeline for complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles (e.g. fintech FI).
  • Comfort working across enterprise and mid-market segments with different buyer dynamics.
  • Strong experience coordinating between sales, partnerships, marketing, and events teams.
  • Ability to run a metrics-driven operation, forecast reliably, and deliver consistent results.
  • Executive presence, excellent communication skills, and natural ability to coach and motivate a team.
  • Willingness to embrace rapid growth, change, and high expectations — and thrive in that environment.
  • A “builders” mindset — someone energized by scaling processes, taking ownership, and helping shape our go-to-market journey.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation abilities; able to engage C-suite and other senior stakeholders.
  • Proven sales or business development skills in B2B SaaS or fintech environments, especially around closing deals and building pipeline.
  • Strategic thinking and analytical skills – able to interpret market trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics to inform strategy.
  • Tech-savvy with ability to understand SaaS business models, fintech product ecosystems (APIs, platforms, integrations), and articulate technical value to business users.
  • Strong CRM and pipeline management skills; experience using sales tools and systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) to track performance and forecast.
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in fast-paced growth environments with some ambiguity.
  • Ability to collaborate across teams (product, marketing, delivery) and drive cross-functional alignment.
  • A generously flexible PTO
  • medical, dental, vision, even pet insurance, just to name a few.
  • 401(k) plan with company contributions
  • Flexible paid time off and company holidays
  • Generous parental and caregiver leave
  • Comprehensive health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage
  • Life and disability insurance
  • Wellness resources and professional development opportunities
