Our Business Development Manager position is a role for an outward-facing, market driven, and results focused individual that turns opportunities into long-term partnerships. We are looking for a Business Development Manager to drive sustainable revenue growth by identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities. This is not a passive sales role. It is crucial to actively create opportunities, build local market presence, and consistently move deals forward. Success is measured by pipeline quality, revenue growth, and the ability to bring in the right clients, not just more clients.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent job experience.
  • Experience in IT sales (service and consultative solutions).
  • Data-informed decision making
  • High ownership and follow-through
  • Strategic prospecting and opportunity qualification
  • Ability to travel to client sites as needed in the greater Nashville area

Responsibilities

  • Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities aligned with company strategy.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and market research.
  • Lead discovery conversations to understand client needs, challenges, and decision drivers.
  • Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations that clearly articulate value.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key decision-makers and influencers.
  • Represent the organization at industry events, meetings, and networking opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and emerging opportunities.
  • Execute business development strategies that support revenue and growth targets.
  • Collaborate closely with Client Experience and Service Delivery teams to align messaging and handoffs.
  • Participation in weekly sales calls to help identify new opportunities, events, or other tactical improvements to aid in attracting and retaining new business or improve internal sales operations.
