About The Position

The Business Development Manager plays a vital role in the sales organization. This role is responsible for prospecting new accounts and expanding margin dollars in under-penetrated accounts. You’ll play a crucial role in building relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing solutions that exceed their expectations. What you'll do: Drive sales for our 2cm, 3cm, and 5cm porcelain pavers within the region and potentially on a national scale Demonstrate excellent prospecting skills to identify new accounts and key decision-makers through cold calling, networking, and social media. Prepare and deliver presentations on products and services Conduct market research to identify selling possibilities and evaluate customer needs Manage a book of business Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships Resolve customer complaints by investigating problems and developing solutions Gather feedback from customers or prospects and share it with internal teams Adminstrative tasks

Requirements

  • Tile experience REQUIRED
  • Proven experience as a sales representative with a successful track record, preferably in the hardscape or building materials industry
  • 3 to 5 years of new customer sales experience
  • Proven prospecting, negotiation, conflict resolution, and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of MS Office; familiarity with CRM software is a plus
  • Knowledge of sales cycle and solution selling techniques
  • Ability to think quickly and make decisions
  • Effective presentation and communication skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • College degree in a Business/Management discipline or related experience preferred
