About The Position

Shamrock and RTS Financial are looking for a Business Development Manager. This sales position is responsible for prospecting, qualifying and closing new accounts for the Equipment Finance Division of RTS Financial. The Business Development Manager will focus on selling to new customers while developing and growing existing accounts. An ideal candidate will be self-motivated with an outgoing, ambitious and dynamic sales personality. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years of equipment finance experience or 5+ years of business development experience
  • Demonstrated record of success closing professional, solutions-based phone sales
  • Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Desire to work in a competitive sales and team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with high call volume cold calling is a plus
  • Bilingual skills are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Negotiate finance terms and finalize installment contracts with customers
  • Prioritize prospects based on strategic importance within assigned databases
  • Cultivate and expand professional relationships and opportunities with current clients
  • Prepare and submit credit and documentation requests as required
  • Deliver exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders
  • Conduct thorough client assessments to identify and propose optimal solutions based on their business needs
  • Manage credit requests, including structuring loans, negotiating terms, evaluating collateral, ensuring proper documentation, and assessing industry and credit risks
  • Maintain a satisfactory yield on finance contracts
  • Conduct proactive outreach to existing customers and targeted prospects to secure new business
  • Act as the primary advisor for a diverse portfolio of commercial relationships, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention
  • Collaborate with product partners to promote a comprehensive range of products and services
  • Resolve customer issues and involve product specialists as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned
