About The Position

Core Molding Technologies is hiring a Business Development Manager to grow customer relationships, generate new opportunities, and drive revenue in key markets. In this role, you’ll lead sales initiatives, manage accounts, and work cross-functionally to align business growth with strategic goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in sales, business development, or account management
  • Proven success managing pipelines and hitting revenue goals
  • Strong relationship-building and negotiation skills
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to interpret market data and financial reports

  • Experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors
  • Familiarity with pricing strategies and contract negotiations

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities across key product lines
  • Manage existing accounts and act as the primary customer contact
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to meet growth targets
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Solutions Group, Finance, etc.) to support customer needs
  • Analyze market trends and customer feedback to guide strategy
  • Deliver proposals, pricing models, and presentations to clients
  • Support contract negotiations and ensure alignment with business goals
  • Represent the company at industry events and trade shows
  • Use CRM and reporting tools to track leads, opportunities, and sales activity
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales processes
