The Business Development Manager will support the organization in achieving strategic growth and profit objectives. This role focuses on Capture Management and Proposal Development, positioning the company for large and mid-sized strategic pursuits within the defense sector. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing specific pursuit strategies to win Trideum new business pursuits. These strategies include teaming, solution (technical, management, and cost) development, win strategy, value proposition and win theme development, competitive analysis, price to win analysis, proposal staffing/development, proposal writing, and color reviews. The Business Development Manager leads the development, implementation, and successful execution of these winning capture strategies, supporting the business case, and developing bid and proposal budgets. The Business Development Manager is responsible for the management of capture and proposal activities including timely and substantive gate reviews, in-process updates, process compliance and transition to the program execution team. In addition, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for: customer focused marketing to develop solutions to customer problems, and win/loss analysis, lessons learned and related process improvements. The position requires a close working relationship with counterparts in Trideum Sectors, as well as other parts of Trideum in a "One Company" environment. In addition, the Business Development Manager will be expected to build and maintain a close working relationship with Trideum leadership and customers. The successful candidate will be experienced and understands Business Development, Capture and Proposal development processes. Specific experience leading teams to capture critical and strategic competitive pursuits is highly desirable. The Business Development Manager will work at our headquarters office in our Huntsville, AL. The person in this role will be responsible for supporting corporate business development.
