About The Position

Fooda is looking for a highly driven, outgoing, and competitive Business Development Manager to join our Minneapolis team. This position is part of a high performing group of proven sales professionals responsible for selling Fooda's multiple products to B2B, mid-market, and enterprise clients across various verticals. This is a true "hunter" role targeting customers throughout an assigned territory. The role involves conducting outbound prospecting, lead generation, and building relationships with potential Fooda customers. You will lead all steps of Fooda's sales cycle, including presenting, negotiating, and closing deals with decision makers in the Minneapolis region. You will also collaborate with Fooda's operations team to execute client launches and maintain productive relationships.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of new business development experience with at least two in an outside sales, closing capacity
  • Experience in navigating decision makers across mid-market and enterprise level companies
  • Strong goal orientation and a results-driven mindset
  • Strategically minded with excellent problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
  • Successful in cold-calling and utilizing sourcing strategies to reach decision makers
  • Excitement for a tech platform that enhances workplace experience and supports local restaurants

Responsibilities

  • Conduct outbound prospecting and lead generation to build relationships and set meetings with potential Fooda customers
  • Identify opportunities and create solutions for a hybrid work environment to maximize dollars and efficiency
  • Lead all steps of Fooda's sales cycle including presenting, negotiating, and closing deals with decision makers
  • Learn and understand the Fooda training program and best practices within the sales process
  • Demonstrate resourcefulness in connecting with new customers and ensure diligent follow-up communications
  • Collaborate with Fooda's operations team to execute client launches and maintain productive relationships
