About The Position

Satelytics is a software company that uses artificial intelligence to analyze satellite imagery to keep a vigilant watch over client assets, alerting them to conditions outside their operating integrity window. The successful applicant will sell multiple Satelytics solutions and report to the Business Development Director, working to an annual sales quota. The role will sell multiple solutions to multiple departments within multiple target companies, across multiple regions and operating areas. Satelytics' primary market segments currently include: Power Utilities, Oil & Gas, Pipeline Operators, Water/Wastewater, Mining, Forestry, and Specialty Chemicals. Satelytics offers Software-as-a-Service. The successful applicant must accept personal responsibility for increasing the sales revenue generated from allocated accounts.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional B2B selling experience, ideally in target markets.
  • Demonstrated successful and stable track record in sales.
  • Experience in personally closing deals with a value of at least $100K.
  • Track record of closing deals in excess of $1M.
  • Ability to demonstrate software and engage in business/technical discussions.
  • Experience in managing personal activity levels to meet sales quota.

  • Experience in working with departmental and management-level contacts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with multiple key stakeholders in target organizations.
  • Research each target organization and identify multiple contacts.
  • Use proven sales techniques to develop strategic relationships.
  • Develop sales leads and convert them to opportunities.
  • Close sufficient opportunities to meet or exceed the prescribed sales quota.
  • Retain responsibility for account development, including revenue retention and growth.
  • Maintain accurate records of accounts, contacts, and opportunities in CRM.
