About The Position

We are recruiting a Business Development Manager - USA for one of our clients, an international fast-growing company specialized in consumer goods, offering innovative products across baby care, beauty, health, and pet categories. As part of its international expansion, the company is launching its operations in North America and is looking for its first commercial hire in the US to structure and drive business development in the region. Based in the United States (New York, Los Angeles, Miami or Chicago), you will play a key role in establishing the company’s presence and accelerating its growth across both retail and e-commerce channels. MISSIONS As a Business Development Manager, you drive the commercial development of the company in the US market, combining business development, key account management, and strategic market expansion. You manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and account management. You identify and develop new retail and distribution partners, leverage your network, and build a strong pipeline through both field activities (trade shows, client meetings, events) and targeted outreach. You develop and manage key accounts by building long-term partnerships and securing new business opportunities, contributing directly to revenue growth in the region. You support the development of the e-commerce channel (Amazon and B2C), in close collaboration with internal teams, by identifying opportunities, monitoring performance, and ensuring alignment with US market dynamics. As the first hire in the US, you play a critical role in shaping the company’s local presence. You provide market insights, contribute to strategic decisions, and support the overall development of the business in North America. The role involves regular travel across the US for business development activities, as well as occasional travel to Europe for onboarding and collaboration with headquarters. PROFILE You have a degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field, and at least 3 years of experience in sales or business development and a network within consumer goods, retail, or distribution environments in the United States. You have a solid understanding of B2B sales cycles and are comfortable managing a full sales pipeline. You are comfortable opening doors and building relationships from scratch. You are autonomous, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment as a first hire. Fluent English is required.
