We are seeking a customer-focused building and construction professional to join our dynamic sales team. This role will represent Penhall Technologies Operations division, which is dedicated to providing top scanning and x-ray solutions to our clients across the U.S. The Business Development Manager will partner heavily with the Service Group of the company to ensure that client needs are met effectively and efficiently. As a Business Development Manager at Penhall, you will provide hands-on leadership in the acquisition and execution of temporary, project, and scanning engagements. A technical sales background is preferred, but we will provide training in Penhall-specific technical services. A solid understanding of the U.S. Commercial Construction Business is preferred but not required. You will collaborate with internal outside sales representatives and company leadership on key strategic client accounts, prospecting for new client business by consulting with executives to provide the right short- and long-term resource solutions that are best for the client. You will serve as a trusted advisor, providing GPR visibility within the business community by attending various networking and business association meetings. Your role will also involve continuing to develop and refine Penhall's selling and consulting techniques to drive revenue growth. You will assist in the constant improvement and refinement of Penhall's recruiting strategies that continually replenish our portfolio of GPR Analysts and our list of service offerings. We are looking for someone who can contribute ideas and energy, inject their own personal style, inspire the group, and help take the company to the next level. A “World Domination” attitude and the ability to “Play Like a Champion” every day are essential for this position. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two to ten years of professional sales experience, preferably within the Building and Construction industry. An established clientele or professional network is helpful but not required. You should demonstrate the ability to lead by example in driving business development activity, possess a direct communication style that is intense and intentional, yet have a sense of humor and not take yourself too seriously. An overwhelming desire to make your day job into a lifetime career that you enjoy is crucial, as is a phenomenal work ethic, intellectual curiosity, and a strive to be better every day. Joining and participating in technical and construction associations will be required.
