About The Position

We are seeking a high-impact Business Development Manager to lead a key strategic partnership in North America with Johnson Controls. This role involves managing the relationship at the executive level, shaping market strategy, and directly influencing how our innovative video solutions are implemented on a large scale. This is a dynamic, high-profile role suitable for a proven leader skilled in forming long-term, complex alliances, developing and executing strategic initiatives, and increasing and achieving sales targets. As the Strategic Accounts Business Development Manager, you will be the primary steward of the Johnson Controls account, focusing on driving growth and fostering partnerships.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of successful sales or business development experience, specifically within the video security solutions industry.
  • Direct experience with Johnson Controls is a significant advantage.
  • A proven track record of delivering exceptional sales results and fostering high-value, collaborative relationships.
  • Strong technical acumen and the confidence to discuss complex products and solutions with both technical and business audiences.
  • Demonstrated ability to accurately forecast revenue on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
  • Solid understanding of channel strategies and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Excellent time management; the ability to prioritize and manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment is non-negotiable.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain deep, trusted relationships at the executive level within your assigned strategic account.
  • Identify, create, and close new sales opportunities, managing the full sales pipeline from initial contact to order delivery.
  • Create, execute, and continually refine strategic business plans for your account and alliances, aligning our video solutions with their long-term vision.
  • Serve as the product expert, preparing comprehensive proposals and quotes, and overseeing the sale of our full suite of Avigilon and MSI products and services.
  • Identify key surveillance market trends and influencers, positioning our products as the superior solution in the industry.
  • Collaborate closely with our Global Sales, Engineering, and Operations teams, providing crucial end-user feedback to drive product improvements.
  • Develop standardized strategic partnership presentations and sales tools that clearly articulate the Avigilon value proposition to our partners' enterprise teams.
