About The Position

The Business Development Manager for Security Services at Allied Universal® is responsible for driving revenue growth by establishing and nurturing business relationships within the Chesapeake market. This role involves marketing comprehensive security solutions through multi-year service contracts across various industry sectors, including commercial properties, manufacturing, technology, and government. The position emphasizes achieving sales goals, fostering partnerships, and contributing to a culture of innovation and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with at least three years of outside sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Associate's degree with at least five years of outside sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • High School diploma with at least fifteen years of outside sales experience in a B2B environment.
  • Team-oriented with a record of achieving sales excellence.
  • Skilled in brand development and consultative selling techniques.
  • Outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Proficient in web-based applications and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills for planning and reporting.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous consultative sales experience in a B2B service-based company.

Responsibilities

  • Drive the sales process, including prospecting, management of leads, proposal development, contract negotiations, and post-close implementation.
  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to achieve growth objectives and increase market share.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to create customized proposals that position the team to win new business.
  • Build and maintain consultative relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities.
  • Assess and report on sales cycle activity and pipeline development using CRM tools.
