As a Business Development Manager (BDM) at Brink’s, you will build and maintain strong relationships with customers across your regional territory, serving as a trusted collaborator and advisor to key decision-makers. By leveraging knowledge of the complete Brink’s solution portfolio, BDMs work with customers to develop and deliver innovative solutions that meet their unique business needs. Supported by a culture of coaching, development, and performance, members of our team proactively identify new customer growth opportunities while also creating value within their existing accounts. This position is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and acquiring new business opportunities within an assigned territory. Responsibilities include building and managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities, presenting solutions to prospective clients, and closing new business that drives revenue growth. Success in this role requires a high level of self-motivation, strong prospecting discipline, and the ability to confidently engage decision-makers. This role focuses primarily on prospecting and developing relationships with potential customers who are not currently doing business with the company. The role requires frequent in-market activity, with approximately 60% travel (typically three days per week) within the assigned territory to conduct face-to-face meetings with prospective customers. The BDM will work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to implementation while maintaining a strong focus on expanding the company’s customer base.
