About The Position

We are looking for a Business Development Manager to take full ownership of identifying, shaping, and launching new business opportunities with a strong customer focus. In this role, you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing market intelligence, helping to define go-to-market strategies, and assisting in the development of product and solution marketing plans. You will also drive initial market penetration efforts and ensure that customer insights directly shape our product offerings and sales strategies. A crucial part of this role is building and maintaining strong customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact. You will be responsible for organizing and leading strategic customer engagements throughout the year, ensuring that our solutions align with their evolving needs. Working closely with Sales, Product Management, and Marketing, you will ensure that our products consistently meet and exceed expectations. Beyond customer engagement, you will focus on understanding the market landscape, tracking industry trends, and analyzing competitor activity. By turning insights into strategic actions, you will help position our products effectively and identify new opportunities for growth.

Requirements

  • Strong business acumen and a proven track record in business development, sales, or marketing—ideally within a product-driven industry.
  • Experience in automated material handling solutions or similar technical fields would be a strong advantage.
  • Highly analytical, comfortable working with data, and able to translate market intelligence into actionable strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Contributing to pricing strategies in collaboration with Sales and Product Management.
  • Supporting the development of sales materials, including product positioning and key differentiators.
  • Selecting and engaging pilot customers for new product launches.
  • Working cross-functionally to support the entire product lifecycle, providing input on portfolio management and ensuring continuous optimization.
  • Conducting internal training sessions to ensure that Sales and other market-facing teams are well-equipped to communicate our product value propositions.
