About The Position

The Business Development Manager for Performance Foodservice at La Crosse Meat is responsible for driving product sales and providing exceptional customer service to enhance customer profitability. This role involves analyzing work-related situations, implementing pricing strategies, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. The position requires significant travel, up to 80%, and emphasizes teamwork and adaptability within the organization.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
  • 4-6 years of Sales/Marketing or related experience within the foodservice industry.

  • 6-10 years of Sales/Marketing or related experience within the foodservice industry.

Responsibilities

  • Implement pricing strategies with customers to achieve acceptable profit margins.
  • Perform accurate data entry and report preparation in a timely manner.
  • Meet financial sales goals.
  • Increase business through account penetration and customer prospecting efforts.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order fulfillment for customers.
  • Demonstrate awareness of customer needs and perform job duties to meet those needs effectively.
  • Implement efficient sales processes and procedures to meet customer demands.
  • Develop sales plans that address customer profitability issues.
  • Conduct periodic training at company sales meetings.
  • Maintain relationships with key positions at the supported Opco's.
