About The Position

The Business Development Manager (BDM) for the Northeast Region is tasked with driving sales revenue and market share for TH Foods in the grocery channel. This role involves identifying growth opportunities, executing strategic plans, and fostering relationships with key customers. The BDM will collaborate with cross-functional teams and report directly to the National Sales Manager, focusing on both established and new accounts to enhance distribution and sales performance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing or a related field.
  • Minimum of five years of sales experience.
  • Significant CPG knowledge and Grocery Channel Retail Account experience.
  • Ability to develop Sales/Management reports, PowerPoint presentations, and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Extensive knowledge of Nielsen Scan Data.

Responsibilities

  • Develop new sales revenue and market share for TH Foods in the Northeast U.S.
  • Identify revenue growth opportunities at retail chains, independents, and distributors.
  • Execute the Corporate Branded Retail 4-Year Strategic Plan for the Northeast Region.
  • Research trends and develop new branded retail opportunities in collaboration with the National Sales Manager.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive Customer Account Growth Plans annually.
  • Cultivate relationships with key customers through regular appointments and business reviews.
  • Support sales and trade plans for all Retail Brands within the assigned geography.
  • Conduct regular meetings with Brokers to drive accountability and business results.
  • Manage budget and credit risks associated with retail customers.
  • Prepare documents such as price quotations and service obligations as needed.
