About The Position

Exceed the expectations of our residential mortgage borrowers & business partners through superior service, simple processes, and effective communications. Primary Function Builds market position by developing, negotiating, and assisting the lenders with closing the Smart Series Suite of products within their assigned territory. The BDM structures deals by contacting potential partners and discovering/exploring opportunities. The BDM maintains relationships with Loan Officers to ensure repeat business. BDM participates in support of the strategies and working directly with Sales Leaders and Sales Executives, examining opportunities, risk and business partner’s needs and goals. BDM will be involved in training on the process and product through webinar training as needed.

Requirements

  • College Degree – preferable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of Mortgage Experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of non-QM experience.
  • Mortgage Sales or Mortgage Sales assistant - preferable.
  • Ability to structure loans.
  • Excellent Organizational Skills.
  • Good Public Speaking Skills.
  • All employees are required to have smart phones that meet Company security standards with the ability to install apps such as Okta Verify and Microsoft Authenticator. Employment will be contingent on this requirement.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Help structure loans.
  • Subject matter expert – answer guideline and scenario questions.
  • Training – help train interior and exterior customers.
  • Operations – help identify any loans that have roadblocks to closing and help remove those roadblocks.
  • Pipeline Management / Smart Series.
  • Identify roadblocks in the process and help deliver solutions.
  • Performs related duties as assigned by supervisor.
