About The Position

Splunk is seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to lead engagement and growth opportunities associated with the LA28 Olympic and Paralympic Games. In this critical role, you will identify, develop, and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, partners, sponsors, and local entities to position Splunk solutions as integral to the success and security of the LA28 Games.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in business development, strategic partnerships, or enterprise sales, preferably within technology companies.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships at executive levels.
• Experience working with major sporting events, large-scale public events, or government-related technology initiatives is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of technology-driven solutions, data analytics, cybersecurity, and observability.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to thrive in dynamic, collaborative, and fast-paced environments.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivate strategic business opportunities specifically related to LA28, including Security and Observability solutions and partnerships.
• Develop strong relationships with key LA28 stakeholders, sponsors, technology providers, government agencies, and other influential organizations.
• Drive go-to-market strategies tailored to the unique requirements and opportunities presented by the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
• Coordinate internal cross-functional teams (sales, marketing, product, legal, and technical specialists) to deliver customized solutions and proposals.
• Represent Splunk at industry events, forums, and partner engagements relevant to LA28.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with Splunk's broader growth strategy.
• Track, analyze, and communicate pipeline progress and market insights regularly to leadership teams.
