About The Position

The Business Development Manager at Armacell is responsible for increasing market share and maximizing revenue growth in designated Industrial segments, including industrial HVAC equipment, commercial appliances, and electronic applications. This remote-based position requires a candidate with technical acumen, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to influence decision-makers for material specification approvals. The role involves strategic planning, market research, prospecting new business opportunities, and collaborating with global teams to drive new development activities.

Requirements

  • Technical degree or BS/BA in relevant field, engineering degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of manufacturing experience in a Technical, Market Segment, Business Development, or customer-facing roles.
  • Prior experience with industrial equipment, preferably in acoustical applications.
  • Capacity to influence behavior through persuasive presentations and effective relationship development.
  • Effective prioritization and time management with a demonstrated sense of urgency.
  • Results-oriented leader and highly motivated team player.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Salesforce.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a business strategy plan to grow the assigned market.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive positions, and potential growth areas.
  • Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and contact potential partners through cold calling and networking.
  • Collect input from the market to establish business and product portfolio strategy for sustainable growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the value chain and stakeholders.
  • Create interest for Armacell solutions at the OEM level and liaise with engineers and managers to promote and drive new development activities.
  • Present key project opportunities with proposed Armacell solutions to global team members from other regions.
  • Assist the sales team with training and market expertise to support direct customer growth.
