About The Position

Meta is seeking a Business Development Manager for Entertainment to lead deal strategy and negotiations with key entertainment partners for Reality Labs devices. This role involves driving partnerships from concept to execution, focusing on innovative collaborations that shape the future of consumer devices and emerging technology. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the intersection between the Internet, high-tech, and entertainment industries, and will work closely with cross-functional teams to optimize partnership success.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of work experience, including 5+ years in business development for entertainment industries.
  • Experience working with large brands, developers, and hardware platforms.
  • Highly strategic with experience structuring and negotiating complex agreements.
  • Experience interpreting legal documents and working with attorneys to complete agreements.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally to orchestrate and complete deals.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous start-up environment.
  • Proven ability to adapt to change and multitask effectively.
  • Strong working relationships inside and outside Meta.
  • Knowledge of entertainment products and services, including traditional and new media licensing ecosystems.

Responsibilities

  • Define, pitch, negotiate, and close complex distribution and app licensing deals with entertainment partners.
  • Work cross-functionally with content, marketing, legal, finance, product, engineering, and partnerships teams to negotiate deal terms and advocate for partners.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to content, product, and engineering teams on strategies to improve user experience and developer ecosystem tools.
  • Support key partnerships on business and operational issues throughout development and post-launch phases.
  • Drive long-term partnership growth efforts, develop new business opportunities, and optimize existing partnerships.
