Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Must not require sponsorship to work in the U.S. now or in the future.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with an interest in business development and sales strategies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create persuasive presentations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word).
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and engage with various stakeholders.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude with the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the business development team to research and develop a competitive rate card for cryo GMP projects that drives sales initiatives.
  • Participate in training on CGT processes, GMP standards, and the existing ULT/Cryo rate card framework to understand sales implications.
  • Conduct market analysis to benchmark our rate card against competitors (CAH, UPS, McKesson, Eversana) to identify competitive positioning and sales opportunities.
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders (clients, suppliers, industry experts) to gather insights on pricing structures and client expectations.
  • Collect operational metrics and sales data to identify cost drivers and potential pricing strategies for cryo GMP activities.
  • Analyze time and resource allocation for various cryo GMP tasks to support the development of compelling sales narratives.
  • Organize cross-functional workshops with business development, sales, and operations teams to define rate card components and sales strategies.
  • Draft the initial version of the rate card based on collaborative input, ensuring it aligns with sales goals.
  • Implement pilot testing of the rate card on select projects to assess its effectiveness in driving sales and gather feedback from the sales team and clients.
  • Finalize the rate card based on pilot testing results and prepare it for sales team training.
  • Conduct training sessions for the sales team on how to effectively use the new rate card to enhance client engagement and drive sales.
  • Launch the rate card and communicate its benefits to relevant stakeholders, emphasizing its role in sales strategies.
  • Establish a schedule for regular reviews of the rate card to ensure it remains competitive and supports evolving sales strategies.
  • Create a feedback mechanism for the sales team to continuously improve the rate card based on client interactions and market changes.
  • Gather and analyze historical transportation data and costs to establish baseline pricing models.
  • Create a standardized template for transportation quotes that includes all necessary components.
  • Work closely with the sales, supply chain, and finance teams to understand specific requirements for each proposal.
  • Implement a transportation management system (TMS) or utilize existing software to automate quote generation and improve accuracy.
  • Develop training materials for the team and the intern who will assist in the quoting process.
