Business Development Intern
About The Position
For over 50 years, LAKOS has been dedicated to delivering maintenance-free clean water to residential, irrigation, industrial, and commercial sectors. LAKOS operates in a 100,000+ square foot facility in Fresno, where we design, engineer, manufacture, and market Solid-Liquid Separators. We are currently seeking a resourceful student to join our Business Development team. We are committed to ensuring you receive valuable opportunities to learn about the business and marketing aspects of our industry. Our expectation is that we get to work with a student who is eager to learn. Job Overview: Support the Business Development/Marketing department. Manage the content and distribution of marketing materials. Assist in creating a first-in-industry custom product selection tool. Learn LAKOS products and our distribution networks. Help plan and execute marketing initiatives at tradeshows as needed.
Requirements
- Open to learning and contributing to process improvements.
- Junior or Senior pursuing a bachelors degree; post-graduate students are also welcome.
- Strong PC skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, with a detail-oriented approach and strong verbal and written communication abilities.
Responsibilities
- Website analysis and development.
- Clean and set up marketing demos for presentations and events.
- Order literature and other promotional items.
- Assist in creating content for email campaigns and social media platforms.
- Edit brochures using InDesign and perform photo knockouts.
