About our Team We are seeking a talented Business Development Executive to join our team and help us take our trade shows (JCK, JCK Online, JCK Magazine, and JIS) to the next level. About the Role As a Business Development Executive, you will drive sales and revenue growth. Keys to this role include identifying new business opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with clients, and developing creative solutions to meet their needs. You will work closely with our marketing, customer success, and operations teams to support you and your clients’ needs.

Requirements

  • Have experience in business development or sales
  • Possess excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Have an entrepreneurial spirit and a hunger to learn and grow
  • Have excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude with a willingness to accept constructive criticism and implement change
  • Be able to work independently and as part of a team

Responsibilities

  • Responding to inbound leads in a quick timely manner
  • Incorporating value-based selling in conversations to drive both customer and business objectives
  • Identifying the needs and challenges of the prospective customer and recommending customized solutions
  • Prospecting new accounts via cold call, email, and social strategies (LinkedIn Sales Navigator)
  • Managing the full cycle sales process from lead generation to closing deals
  • Building and maintain excellent relationships with clients to ensure their success and satisfaction
  • Maintaining pipeline and log activity appropriately in Salesforce
