About The Position

The position is remote, primarily covering the northeastern United States, and aims to grow the company's market share and customer base by generating new orders for CCI's products, systems, and services. The role involves meeting or exceeding assigned territory revenue targets and managing client relationships effectively.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Mechanical
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in technology sales
  • Prior experience in sales of mid-range electronic hardware and capital equipment is a plus
  • Demonstrated 'hunter' mentality to grow sales
  • Proven experience in Sales
  • Knowledge of products or processes requiring the use of electrical test equipment
  • Proven ability to build strategic internal/external customer relationships at all levels
  • Proficiency with CRM software and Account Management systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of closing deals
  • Strong initiative, proactive nature, and sense of urgency

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the automotive, military/aerospace, medical, industrial, or computer networking industries
  • Familiarity with ITAR and Prototype regulations

Responsibilities

  • Identify and approach new potential strategic customers and deliver relevant value proposition
  • Foster client relationships with existing accounts through proactive and responsive communications
  • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
  • Handle issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Act as the liaison between key customers and internal teams
  • Review pricing and price adjustments with customers
  • Initiate contact with key individuals within target end-user organizations to define their needs and provide technical solutions
  • Manage key accounts to ensure achievement of sales objectives
  • Develop and implement a strategy for sales prospecting in the territory
  • Generate leads from various resources such as Internet, trade publications, and trade shows
  • Sell value, execute a disciplined sales process, and close on profitable business
  • Drive CRM (SalesForce) utilization for account management and sales reporting
  • Support customers with test engineering needs and demonstrate test fixtures and automated test systems
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports and forecasts as defined by leadership
  • Develop knowledge of competitive products and keep management informed of competitive activity
