In this strategic seller role, you’ll cultivate long‑cycle partnerships with hospitals and health systems, expanding existing relationships while opening new doors in key markets. Although this is a fully remote position, candidates should expect to travel 50–75% of the time to engage prospects, build trust, and advance complex opportunities. Our ideal candidate will be based in a centrally located market such as Kansas City, St. Louis, Chicago, Omaha or Denver to best support the region. You’ll collaborate closely with Regional Directors and senior leaders to shape MMT’s continued expansion. Requirements

  • At least 6 years of experience in the healthcare industry.
  • Minimum 8 years of strategic or contract sales experience, with deep knowledge of procurement and RFP processes.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Proven success as a self‑starter with a strong track record of achieving results.
  • Exceptional communication, relationship‑building, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders across backgrounds and disciplines.
  • Strategic thinker who can operate autonomously while collaborating effectively with internal teams.
  • Willingness to travel 50–75% of the time.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, cultivate, and close new business opportunities aligned with MMT’s strategic priorities.
  • Build a comprehensive Territory Plan using available resources such as Definitive Healthcare to target and engage prospective clients.
  • Proactively reach out to prospects and communicate MMT’s mission, values, and unique value proposition with clarity and confidence.
  • Develop strong relationships across the healthcare ecosystem—trade associations, state agencies, industry forums, and more—to generate leads and expand visibility.
  • Create, maintain, and refine marketing materials and proposal content.
  • Manage timely follow‑up on all leads and referrals.
  • Coordinate the full Survey and Proposal process, ensuring accuracy, professionalism, and alignment with client needs.
  • Partner with Regional Directors, CFO, and cross‑functional teams to drive a seamless sales process.
  • Use a strategic, consultative sales approach to understand prospect needs, decision criteria, and competitive landscape.
  • Lead the development and communication of compelling solutions, including supporting pro forma creation.
  • Develop creative strategies that position MMT favorably against local, regional, and national competitors.
  • Support contract execution and ensure a smooth transition to Operations for program launch.
  • Meet or exceed annual sales targets and maintain accurate sales activity reporting.
