Requirements

  • Good business judgment and commercial acumen.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
  • Four-year college/university degree, preferably in business or marketing/advertising/communications.
  • 6+ years of related agency and/or sales experience.
  • Proficiency in Apple Keynote and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

  • Form prospective clients' impressions of the agency and shape the client portfolio.
  • Work closely with the CEO to bring in new business for the agency.
  • Establish, refine, and improve business development practices.
  • Develop a scalable business development framework for new opportunities and organic growth within existing accounts.
  • Expand the agency's network by attending key industry events and pursuing new business opportunities.
  • Pitch across various offerings such as advertising, experiential, postproduction, and music.
  • Act as the central hub of the pitch team, managing staffing, work delivery, and client management.
  • Oversee accurate record keeping of all new business wins and losses in the agency's CRM.
  • Prepare weekly new business reports and leadership updates on active deals and the health of the agency's pipeline.
  • Maintain archives of proposals and presentations, and a library of best-in-class client work samples.
  • Lead in the development of business development tools to elicit prospect attention and merchandise agency value/ROI.
  • Liaise with Account, Creative, and industry specialists to provide curated work samples for organic growth opportunities.
  • Own relationships with external agents and organize meetings for on-time execution of proposals and presentations.
  • Ensure process adherence, efficiency, and quality assurance.
