We have an opportunity at our corporate offices in Chicago for a Business Development Director I on our Health Solutions team. This is a hybrid position reporting into our Chicago, IL office, requiring 2 days a week in the office.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in health-related field or business required.
  • Minimum 10+ years of business development experience in healthcare services.
  • Management experience in healthcare services, content and/or technology.
  • Experience with credentialing and/or physician data and tools is desired.
  • Experience in developing and expanding relationships with product and/or data partners.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and successful utilization of professional sales processes such as strategic selling or consultative sales practices with large client groups.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships/partnerships with key industry stakeholders to expand the value, reach, and long-term growth of VeriCre and the AMA.
  • Analyze, recommend, and implement various strategies to expand VeriCre’s market penetration and data comprehensiveness.
  • Independently develop and maintain an integrated 'One AMA' Strategic Account Plan for each current and potential partner.
  • Identify customer strategies and initiatives, key customer contacts, engagement plans, and provide an overall roadmap to bring value to AMA and our customers.
  • Develop and deliver compelling business proposals and presentations to internal and external senior management.
  • Identify and research potential VeriCre collaborators focusing on the alignment with AMA strategy.
  • Build relationships with external collaborators to advance VeriCre’s adoption, brand recognition and leadership position in the market.
  • Identify and develop new revenue opportunities and channel partner strategies.
  • Accurately forecast HS revenue to senior management.
  • Document opportunities in Salesforce in a timely manner.
  • Negotiate contracts with industry stakeholders and potential product users.
  • Represent the Voice of the Customer to the AMA, serving as a central point of contact for assigned customers.
  • Bring the Voice of the Market product management to provide necessary product and market information.

Benefits

  • Salary range: $126,378- $170,825.
  • Eligible to participate in an incentive plan.
