About The Position

Business Development Coordinator We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator to support company growth by identifying and coordinating proposals and business development opportunities. This role develops and refines proposal content, maintains templates and marketing materials, and ensures documents are accurate, compliant, and on brand. The coordinator also manages proposal timelines, supports internal documentation, and collaborates with internal teams and external partners to support strategic growth efforts. Work location : Remote but must reside in the Raleigh-Durham area Salary: $60,00 - 70,000 Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week

Requirements

  • Some college education required; coursework in business, communications, marketing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong written communication, editing, and organizational skills with high attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, including document formatting and template development.

  • Experience with proposal development, technical writing, or business development support in a consulting or professional services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, research, and track business development and proposal opportunities, including reviewing solicitations, RFPs, RFQs, and related requirements.
  • Develop, organize, and draft compelling proposal content tailored to client requirements and strategic objectives.
  • Create, maintain, and improve proposal templates, marketing materials, and standardized content for business development initiatives.
  • Review, edit, and refine technical and operational documents to ensure clarity, accuracy, compliance, and consistency with firm branding and style guidelines.
  • Coordinate proposal development activities, including version control, document formatting, and deadline management.
  • Represent the company at business events, training, and networking opportunities (e.g., Industry Days) to support market awareness and relationship building.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with vendors, subcontractors, and potential business partners to support teaming and partnership strategies.
  • Plan, write, edit, and organize operational procedures, manuals, and internal documentation.
  • Analyze and standardize documents to maintain continuity of tone, structure, and messaging across all written materials.
  • Manage updates, revisions, and archival of technical and business development literature.
  • Handle sensitive and proprietary information with discretion and maintain confidentiality in all business matters.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support business development, marketing, and operational objectives.
